WELL-DEFINED Moab Adventure – The Sunflower Hill Inn

Looking for where to stay while in Moab?

The Sunflower Hill Inn is a fantastic retreat for an adventure getaway. Set on a beautiful lot, in the most ideal location with luxury rooms, lush green grounds, a relaxing pool and hot tub.

  1. Clean, comfy and inviting.
The Sunflower Hill Inn is incredible.
Offering shade from the desert sun and a pool to relax your muscles, as well as a hot tub to really sooth those extra worked areas. The rooms and grounds are so well-maintained. Our room was the exact expectation I have of a relaxing adventure retreat. There are other hotels in the town of Moab but as we drove around and viewed their offerings, we were so happy with our choice of staying at The Sunflower Hill Inn.
  2. The location is perfect! While I had bucket list dreams to stay at the Sorrel River Ranch, I realized once we made our trip to Moab, the Sorrel River Ranch’s location is a bit of a drive from Moab and the trails. Since we are making the trip to Moab to do some mountain biking and experience local cuisine, the location of The Sunflower Hill Inn is ideal. Being able to get out the day we arrived, pick up our bikes and do some warm-up rides on Moab Brands while having the Inn nearby was great. We needed to get up and get going before the desert summer heat set in, so some days were very early. Starting at 4-5 a.m. to meet the shuttle in town to the start of the Whole Enchilada. Other days we rested in between biking rides and hikes during the hottest peak hours and went back out for the evening, such as hitting Slickrock. Having the Inn so close made for more Well-Enjoyed time and less driving.
  3. Another fantastic amenity is the garage to store the bikes. No concern of having to keep it locked up in the truck or feeling we’ll need to wheel it into our room. Locked up and out of the way, easy to access when ready to hit the trails again.
  4. The breakfasts were perfect! Healthy and clever options such as the Inn’s famously known homemade granola – which since I’ve made this trip I have been continuously trying to perfect my own homemade granola – to their popular muffins, Greek yogurt, fresh fruit and egg options as well as some southwestern style options one morning. Every day started out nutritiously Well-Fed.
  5. Flowers and flowers and even an orchard thriving in the desert. I loved being amongst a vast garden of thriving life. Still having that desert feel, but with colorful flowers at every turn. In the distant the desert red rock is in view, making for an amazing experience.
