A photo journal of Day 3, this time it was after our visit to Arches National Park. Beautiful deep blue views of a cloudless sky with the slickrock red just beaming under a bright southwest sun. If you can’t tell by the photos, the heat was still on! Late afternoon the heat index was still over 100 and we were set to hit the trails by probably a little after 5 pm, hoping the intensity of the desert heat would ease. Not a chance. Hydration station was key to stay well-hydrated. We enjoyed the trails but didn’t last too long, two hours max.
