Off we go! Anniversary trip to Park City Utah! EWR to SLC we took flight, arrived, picked up our rental truck and made the hour drive to Park City.
Salt Lake City upwards into the mountains, the view becomes much more green and is beautiful! Fresh air and blue sky. I love living life like this, traveling to see and experience new places, embrace adventure, be outside in nature!
We reserved our bikes with Jans Bike Rentals Park City before we arrived to be certain we had exactly what we needed. Loaded into the truck, next stop, St. Regis Park City.
The resort has a funicular that connects where you will need to park, which is at the base of the mountain at Snow Park. You valet and then the funicular is an elevator that takes you on a 90 second ride to the top where the resort is located. Can’t just walk in to the resort, always have to access it by this elevator system.
We are here! And hungry. Well-Nourished lunch at Brasserie7452
I had the Idaho Trout Almondine while Dan ordered the Seared Tuna. Both very well-enjoyed!
Ready to get riding! Let the concierge know we’re ready to load up, they stored our bikes for us along with valeting the truck. Load ’em up and let’s go!
The mountain lifts at Park City Mountain were not officially open yet, not until tomorrow, but the trails were ready and waiting for us. We enjoy working for an award so we get at it. Beautiful.
Took a break to take in the spectacular views.
Back to the resort, ready for our 15 year Wedding Anniversary dinner at Rime.
