When we arrived in Orlando, we made our way to the rental car counter at the airport. My husband had reserved a rental car before we arrived, but still the line was incredibly long! Every single rental car company existed in this airport and each line was exhausting just to look at. So, he waited in line patiently, and since the kids had been sitting on a plane the last two+ hours, they needed to run and move, so I chased them around the dirty airport.
My husband rides and races dirtbikes and has been a member of the AMA – The American Motorcyclist Association for years! He realized when booking the rental car that he could get a discount with his membership. That was awesome!
When he stepped up to the counter, the man at the rental car agency asked if my husband was there for bike week. Dan figured maybe the guy saw he was a AMA member, but really the rental agent was just asking because of how Dan looked <—- Can I call that Racer Profiling? Dan doesn’t really give off the vibe of “I’m here with my wife and two kids to go to Disney World”. I say that in a good way, he’s incredibly sexy and has this manly presence about him that I love. The rental car agent then said “you don’t want some family car, what you need is a Ford Mustang Convertible.” Yes sir, that is exactly what we need! He hooked Dan up with a great price for the car!
So with baby and kid in back, we rolled into Disney World in style!!
It was like a ride at an amusement park already and we hadn’t even entered Disney World yet! It did get a little windy on the highway from the airport… Kali was loving it, then wasn’t sure about the wind.
Each day we hopped in, put the top down and drove to one of the parks, the kids had fun with it! It was a great way to get some much-needed sunshine and fresh air!!!
Mustang Convertible = Young and wild and freeeeee!!!!! The grown-ups in the back seat don’t quite understand yet why this is so much fun!!!!
